About Lyme Rocks
Our Story
Lyme Rocks, our contemporary and ‘funky’ sweet shop, is in the lovely town of Lyme Regis, on the Jurassic Coast.
Lyme Rocks started life in 2018 as a family run sweet shop in the beautiful Dorset town of Lyme Regis. The family consists of Mum Fiona, Dad Leo, two beautiful daughters Bella and Frankie and the family dog Harper.
Our Shop
Our shop means a lot to us and we pride ourselves on making shopping with us a really great experience - the shop itself is full of bright colours and decorations which you're sure to enjoy!
We have over 200 jars of different sweets which we lovingly package ourselves but we also stock a wide variety of other favourites including an array of American sweets which are incredibly popular.
Whatever your taste we have something for you!
Shop History
We are located at the iconic Guildhall in Lyme Regis, just metres from one of the most popular beaches in the South West for holiday-makers and fossil hunters alike.
The history of The Guildhall can be traced back as far as the Stuart period. The main chamber with its curved ceiling and coat of arms was once the local court and the main body of the building, including the Mayor's Parlour, was built in 1887 on the site of the town's lock-up.
The Jurassic Coast
Lyme Rocks is situated in the coastal town of Lyme Regis in Dorset, sat in heart of the absolutely stunning Lyme Bay. The bay forms part of what is termed the Jurassic Coast which stretches for 95 miles between Studland Bay in Dorset, and Exmouth in East Devon, and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site for very good reason.
We are spoilt with wonderful sea and country views, fantastic walks including that of the South West Coast Path, and all the delights that the abundant fossil hunting opportunities bring.
There is so much to do in Lyme Regis and the surrounding area for couples and families alike, including fantastic restaurants and bars, independent shops, museums, dinosaur-themed attractions, and holiday parks. But a trip to Lyme Rocks should most definitely be at the top of your to-do list!

Delivery
All orders are sent by standard UK mainland delivery (Royal Mail 2nd class), dispatched within 48 hours of receipt (Monday to Friday excluding bank holidays) and should be received within 3-5 working days of dispatch.

Where is your sweet shop?
Lyme Rocks is situated in at the Guildhall Shop, Bridge Street, Lyme Regis, Dorset, DT7 3QA. If you are visiting we would love you to pop in and see our full array of goodies! We are open every day from 11am (excluding Christmas, Boxing Day and New Year's Day). When Rocky the Bear is outside we are open!
Do you sell other sweets that
are not on your website?
Yes. We have over 200 jars in our shop, together with a pre-packed section including retro sweets, American sweets and Tony’s Chocolonely. If there’s anything you want that’s not on our website (which will continually be updated) please just send us a message via our contact us page.
How long will my sweets last?
Sweets have a long shelf life (we’re talking years)! All our orders come with full ingredients and best before dates.
Do you do customised orders?
Yes, we most certainly do! We would be delighted to provide you with customised order to suit your own events. Send us a message via the contact form or drop us an email.
Is your packaging recyclable?
It is very important to us to use products that are recyclable and biodegradable, and wherever possible we use environmentally friendly packaging and materials.
Can I place an order over the phone?
The easiest way to order is via our online shop however should you need to speak to us please call us on 01297 444322.
What payment cards do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards as well as Paypal, Apple Pay and more.
Do you do gift Vouchers?
Yes we do! Please email us. Vouchers can be supplied in multiples of £5 with postage through Royal Mail based on second class delivery.
Returns and Refund Policy
We really hope you will love our products as much as we do. However, should there be an occasion where you are not completely satisfied, please contact us within 14 days of receipt, to arrange your return and a full refund.

Returns Policy
We really hope you will love our products as much as we do. However, should there be an occasion where you are not completely satisfied, please contact us within 14 days of receipt, to arrange your return and a full refund. Unfortunately, Lyme Rocks cannot cover return postage costs so we recommend that you return your items via registered post.
Please note that any returned goods need to be in their original sealed packaging. We are unable to offer refunds for any personalised items including pick and mix.

We will process refunds as soon as possible, but this will be within 30 days of receipt of returns.
Please be advised that we do our very best to make sure our products reach you in tip top condition. We cannot however take responsibility after the goods have been dispatched.
